Tomorrow I will be a guest on the ezpz Mealtime Show! Since February is Low Vision Awareness Month, the timing is perfect. Betty has cortical visual impairment – which means that her eyes are healthy, but her brain has a hard time processing her vision. Vision plays a critical role in typical development, so kids with visual impairments need accommodations in most areas of their life – feeding included.
I’ll be chatting with Dawn about some strategies for helping kids with vision impairments become successful eaters. Please tune in and join the discussion! We’ll be blabbing on Tuesday, February 24th at 12:30 PST. Hope to see you there!
